I have always enjoyed photography but was never really interested in learning how to do it myself. I was more than happy to let my husband lug around his heavy photography equipment and take the photos for us while I took in the scenery.
Things changed when I moved to Oslo, Norway and started sharing photos of the beautiful Norwegian nature with family and friends. Encouraged by their feedback, I started teaching myself the basics of photography so that I could take better images to share with them. In the summer of 2021, I realized that I had outgrown my smartphone and needed to upgrade to some proper photography gear. Now I am having a blast exploring my city and surroundings from behind the camera. I’m primarily interested in landscape and forest photography, but my interests are growing as I explore the art form.
